LONGCHAMPS

LONGCHAMPS - French Wines since 1919

Longchamps is an international wine brand created by the old Anglo-French family company Adet Seward in Bordeaux during the post world war period, in 1919, to sell their range of quality selected House French wines.

The name inspired Niels Girkins and Henri de Lestapie (the 2 owners of Adet Seward) both by the location of their cellars and offices adjacent to the Place Longchamps in Bordeaux and by association with the internationally famed racecourse in Paris.

It incorporates the iconic horse logo which is synonymous with France and quality as well as being easily recognisable. It has served them well over the last 50 years as a vehicle to sell and promote their brand throughout the world and been taken over by Bardinet Vins international by acquisition in 2000.
