The Glen Moray Site
Glen Moray distillery in Elgin, Scotland, is recognised for its environmental compliance after a number of improvements were made, including the installation of a new-generation boiler and effluent treatment system as well as implementation of a new energy-recovery system and sustainable urban drainage systems to recover rainwater. Today the distillery ensures a careful selection of raw materials, using non-GM malted barley mainly from local Speyside partners. The residue of the first distillation are transformed into animal feed.
The Depaz Site
Bardinet is committed to protecting the rich natural environment surrounding its Depaz distillery in the beautifully lush Caribbean island of Martinique. Depaz is committed to sustaining its unique environment - ‘terroir’ - implementing robust and effective measures to protect and nurture its land for generations to come. Its commitment is based on setting up greener agricultural practices, reducing the environmental impact of production processes, preserving the biodiversity and contributing to the local economic diversity in Martinique.
