GLEN MORAY - Cask explorer since 1897
Since the first spirit flowed from our stills in Elgin, Speyside, on 13th September 1897, Glen Moray has been distilling the finest single malts and exploring how wood can influence whisky’s taste. Our founders matured the earliest Glen Moray in an astonishing array of casks. Their experimental ways inspire our craft even now. Uniting passion for flavour with generations of skill, we honour their legacy in each drop of our whisky today.

Glen Moray Distillery
Glen Moray Distillery is located in Elgin, capital of Speyside, Scotland’s most famous whisky region. This location benefits from the region’s milder climate thanks to the protection from the Cairngorm and Monadhliath Mountains. Over our 125 years of producing scotch whisky, we have become experts in the careful marriage of whisky and wine and spirit barrels, having excelled at accessing the finest casks the world over. Our small team of dedicated craftsmen is drawn from the local community, making what we do very much a family affair. The dedication of our people is testament to our output – with 3 wash and 6 spirit stills, we store on average 120,000 casks annually, producing almost 6 million litres of whisky per litre of pure alcohol.
